Prof. Hong Zhou
Professor of Microbiology, Immun. & Mol. Genetics at UCLA, USA
Talk Title: CryoEM and infections: from viruses, malaria to mosquitos
Bio: Prof. Hong Zhou is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics and the founding director of the Electron Imaging Center for NanoSystems at UCLA. He was a Pew Scholar, a Burton Award recipient and an elected fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology.

Prof. Nigel Browning
Chair of Electron Microscopy in the School of Engineering at the University of Liverpool, UK
Talk Title: The Relativistic Ultrafast Electron Diffraction and Imaging (RUEDI) UK National Facility
Bio: Prof. Nigel Browning is the Chair of Electron Microscopy in the School of Engineering and Director of the Albert Crewe Centre for Electron Microscopy at the University of Liverpool. He is also the Director of the £125M RUEDI national facility, the Program Chair for the International Microscopy Conference (IMC21) to be held in Liverpool in 2026 and Chief Scientific Officer/Co-founder of SenseAI Innovations.
