There are many more details and images on our website, but briefly our
version has some differences versus the TFS FIB Ring.

   1. Instead of having a small notch/cut-out at an angle to allow for
   shallow angle milling access, our FIB Autogrid Ring has an angled face
   around the entire circumference - this leads to the ability to mill a much
   larger area of your grid and at shallower angles, resulting in larger
   lamellae and also to access to more of your precious cells/tissue.
   2. Our markings on the surface are significantly darker, essentially as
   dark as a sharpie marker. Because the TFS FIB rings have such light marks,
   people often mark them with a marker to help with orientation, which is
   inexact and inconvenient. Our marks are incredibly high contrast and more
   reliable.

Our FIB Autogrid Ring design provides these benefits, along with being made
with the same world-class manufacturing technology and inspection processes
as our top quality "regular" Autogrid Rings (so have better dimensional
consistency part to part, premium surface finish, and premium packaging),
all at a lower price.
