Dear Colleagues,

We are seeking an outstanding scientist to serve as the Cryo EM Facility Manager, a permanent, full-time role, at our newly established cryo TEM (SB2EM) facility. You will join the dynamic EM community at UC Santa Barbara, working in a stimulating academic and cultural setting, mere steps from the Pacific Ocean. Primary responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the facility, training new users, and supporting the development of exciting new bimodal imaging efforts. Currently, SB2EM is equipped with a Glacios2 TEM, an Aquilos2 cryo-FIB iFLM, and provides access to a Titan Krios TEM. SB2EM serves a diverse range of users from UCSB as well as from both the academic and industrial sectors.
