We are seeking a motivated and experienced cryo-electron microscopist to collaboratively run the ISMB Electron Microscopy Facility with a focus on high resolution data collection and external user support.

You will be part of a team overseeing the running of the ISMB Electron Microscopy Facility, and will specialize in state-of-the-art high resolution data collection including related sample preparation. This role involves supporting the research of the ISMB Facility user community and will provide opportunities for you to develop your own research projects. You will also develop and support research projects from external Facility users and coordinate use of and reporting to the National EM Centre at the Diamond Synchrotron.
This opportunity would build on postdoctoral research experience primarily in single particle cryo-electron microscopy structure determination. The successful role holder will have a PhD in this or a similar area.
