Hi 3DEM / CCPEM world!
A quick reminder that the Univ. of Basel Biozentrum's call for a new Tenure
or Tenure-Track professor in "Structural Biology, Biological Imaging, or
Biophysics" is closing on SEPTEMBER 30.
Here's the link to apply:

Our group has been at the Biozentrum for almost three years now, and it's
really a dream home to do adventurous curiosity-driven science. Of
course-- the funding in Switzerland for basic research is truly
exceptional, and the core facilities we have at the Biozentrum are great
(cryoEM/ET, NMR, AFM, Biophysics, Proteomics, Light Microscopy, etc). But
what makes it really special here at the Biozentrum is the collegial,
interactive community exploring really diverse and exciting science. It's
such a fun place to work, and Basel is an amazingly international and
biology-focused town (also home to Roche and Novartis) in the heart of
Europe. As an American, I feel right at home here researching, teaching,
living, and raising a family. And.... did I mention the public
transportation here in Switzerland? Or the joy of swimming in the Rhine on
a sunny summer afternoon? :) Honestly, this combination of science and
life is hard to beat.
I hope that I enticed you to check out this call and consider becoming our
new colleague on the lively 5th/6th double floor of the Biozentrum. Please
feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Ben
