[3dem] Postdoc opportunity at Weill Cornell

Dear Colleagues,

The Levitz Lab located at Weill Cornell Medicine in Manhattan, New York has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow with a focus in integrative structural biology of synaptic membrane proteins.  Applicants should have a PhD in biophysics or structural biology or a related field with previous experience in cryo-EM and single particle analysis. A strong background in biochemistry and or biophysical techniques is preferred. Successful candidates will join our multidisciplinary team and use cryo-EM in conjunction with single molecule imaging and live cell functional assays to address questions regarding the conformational rearrangements and complex formations that occur for key membrane proteins involved in neuromodulation. The Levitz Lab has great access to the cryo-EM core facilities at Weill Cornell, NYU, and the NYSBC. This is a fully funded position. The salary range for this position is $58,500 - $66,538.  Weill Cornell Medicine provides the stated salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for full‐time employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.
