Together with Sonya Hanson (Flatiron Institute) and Ruben Sanchez-Garcia (University of Oxford) we are co-editing a collection on “Breakthroughs in Cryo-EM with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence” in Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences.

This Research Topic invites commentaries, reviews, perspectives, or technology and methods papers using machine learning and similar methodologies to improve the determination of structures in biological macromolecules in cryogenic electron microscopy.
