We have a position open at the Monash Ramaciotti Centre for a cryo-FIB-SEM

The Monash Ramaciotti Centre for Cryo-Electron Microscopy is a research
facility for life science electron microscopy, offering a wide range of EM
techniques for biomedical research at the molecular and cellular levels.
Equipped with two Titan Krios cryo-TEMs (2015, 2023), Helios5 UX
cryo-FIB-SEM, and other specialized microscopes, the centre provides
expertise for discoveries in the life sciences.

The Senior Microscopist will oversee and manage the cryo- Helios 5 UX
FIB-SEM. The role involves providing expertise, support, and training in
both cryogenic and room temperature FIB-SEM including cryo-lamellae/lift
out sample preparation for cryo-ET and Volume EM. The microscopist will
stay updated on state of the art techniques, develop methods and
collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate
research.
