Hi Guy,
We had the same problem on our T12 and we just installed a Rio16 camera for neg staining and sections imaging. You are welcome to come see the configuration and test at Pasteur. We are very happy with this camera.
Have a good day
Best
Adeline

Hi Guy,
We have a Gatan XP1000 on our T12. Works great with our antiquated Win2k computer.

Dear Colleagues,
We have a T12 equipped with an Orius 1000 camera running Windows XP. This camera is aging and we're thinking of changing it. TFS no longer offers upgrades to Windows 7. So we'll have to turn to a third-party camera manufacturer and an additional PC to communicate with the T12 via Tempscrippting or advanced Temscripting. Do you have any advice on which camera would be optimal for negative staining and plastic cell sections imaging?
Thank you
Best
