[3dem] Post-doc position(s) at MRC LMB

I currently have an open post-doc position <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.nature.com/naturecareers/job/12797684/postdoctoral-scientist-structural-studies-dr-lori-passmore-lmb-2135/__;!!Mih3wA!CVDCh-pOZEF1Ry-nOC5XiIyc5_8BSWnlVu1_vMQ5BLqq-MOxe2klJ1Azq203HddFICjU8t3QmxkmlfGi1t6NLFOw7rPU$ > in my group to study the structure and function of the mRNA 3’end processing machinery. We have recently established fully recombinant yeast and human systems. This post is to investigate the structures of mRNA 3’ end processing complexes and to understand how polyA tails are added to mRNAs. We use cryoEM alongside many other complementary methods. 

The LMB has a fantastic community of structural, molecular and cellular biologists, and is highly collaborative. We also have core facilities (eg cryoEM, crystallography, mass spec, biophysics, etc) that support our work. Staff from the facilities train users to collect their own data and use all of the equipment. We also have great training and mentoring opportunities here.
