> Cryo-electron tomography has made enormous strides over the past few years, and pioneering studies have shown the promise of understanding cellular architecture at the molecular scale. Nevertheless, there are significant needs for improvements in hardware at every step of the pipeline in order to make it practical to view any desired cellular complex, structure, or organelle by cryotomography at the highest possible resolution and to understand these structures in a broader biological context.

> Topics we plan to address include: improvements in grid preparation, super-resolution light microscopy, sample milling, cc correctors, laser phase plates, scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM), and cameras. Learn more and read the full agenda.
