The facility manager's role will be to enable the effective operation of cryo-electron microscopes and associated equipment, provide dedicated and high-quality training and technical support of scientists in the use of this equipment, data analysis, budget management, and continued technical development. Current work is primarily focused on single-particle cryo-EM, but the division is expanding into cryo-ET and in situ work in the coming years.
