Dear EM community,
The Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (IND) at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking to recruit outstanding faculty candidates with research programs focused on fundamental problems in neurodegeneration. Candidates with approaches using biophysical tools, including cryo-EM and cryo-ET, are of particular interest. The IND houses state-of-the-art instrumentation, including a Krios (with a BioQuantum-K3), a Glacios (with a K2) and an L120C. A Krios G4 (with CFEG and SelectrisX) and a Hydra plasma FIB-SEM will be installed in 2023 in a new facility dedicated to advancing neurodegenerative disease structural biology research.
