Dear Colleagues,

The Wright lab, Cryo-EM Research Center, and the NIH Midwest Center for Cryo-ET in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, seek to recruit enthusiastic scientists at all ranks (students, postdoctoral fellows, and staff scientists). The Cryo-EM resources at Madison include two Titan Krios instruments (G3-XFEG and G4-CFEG); a Talos Arctica, a Talos L120C screening TEM; two Aquilos 2 cryo-Dual Beam systems (one with iFLM); and Leica confocal and widefield cryo-CLEM systems for correlative microscopy pipelines. Ancillary specimen preparation equipment is in place. Biological emphasis areas include, but are not limited to: infectious disease (bacteria and viruses), developmental neurobiology and neurodegenerative disorders, blood cell biology, and DNA and RNA biology. Technology development interests are in the areas of correlative microscopy, sample preparation, and data analysis.

Depending on the post, candidates should have a strong interest and experience in structural biology or a related field, experience with EM and/or cryo-EM, and either a Masters or PhD. Strong communication and technical skills are essential. If interested, please send inquiries to erwright2 at wisc.edu<mailto:erwright2 at wisc.edu>.

Best regards,

Liz
