[3dem] Staff scientist position in new cryo-EM core at NINDS in Bethesda, Maryland

We have a Staff Scientist Position available in the newly established
Cryo-EM facility at the National Institute of Neurological Disorder and
Stroke to support the growing community of researchers in the field of
Cryo-EM. The staff scientist will assist users in all steps of
cryo-electron microscopy from sample preparation, screening, data
collection, and data processing. The core houses a Glacios with a Falcon IV
camera as well as a sample preparation suite.



Who will be a good fit?



*Professional experience*



• You have an excellent understanding of cryo-EM instrumentation, sample
preparation and data collection

• You have experience in cryo-EM data processing both single particle and
tomography
• You ideally have several years of postdoc experience

• You have experience with data management

• You hold a PhD degree

• You have excellent organizational skills

• You enjoy working with multiple users

• You enjoy training people
