Key Responsibilities

. Conduct customer demonstrations and data acquisition for Cryogenic
Transmission Electron Microscopy (CryoEM) business
. Train customers in use of JEOL's state-of-the-art CRYO ARM TEMs and all
accessories after installation
. Conduct research using CryoEM to optimize instrument performance for
client users
. Present research data and analysis at corporate meetings, client
meetings, and scientific conferences.
. Prepare research data and manuscripts for publication in peer reviewed
journals.
. Prepare materials and documentation training and continued use of TEM and
associated techniques
. Work with third party vendors on testing of new accessory instrumentation
and provide feedback to vendors for instrument improvement
. Provide customer support and consultation for state-of-the-art research
using CryoEM and its accessories
. Provide customer installation and training of TEM tomography packages

Requirements

. Ph.D. in Life Science, focusing on CryoEM - ideally automated CryoEM
. Five or more years research experience with Cryo electron microscopy
. Experience in product and software development for electron microscopy
applications is a plus
. Travel 50% of the time to customer sites in North and South America for
demonstrations, training and presentations
