We have recently acquired funding for a new research training group in Göttingen on  “Cytoskeletal elements of active matter – from molecular interactions to cellular biophysics”, which will start in January 2023.

We are now inviting applications for 13 PhD positions and one postdoc position on exciting topics and I would be very grateful if you could spread this information in your research groups and networks. We are looking for a cohort of PhD students with different backgrounds (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematic) that are enthusiastic about biological physics (experiment, theory, modeling).
