The ideal candidate will be involved in exciting and highly integrated multi-disciplinary research projects understanding the molecular mechanism and pharmacology of ion channels.

We focus on ion channels involved in the basic senses. We employ a range of structural and biophysical approaches, including single-particle cryo-EM, patch-clamp electrophysiology, and other biochemical methods.

Qualifications
The candidate should hold a PhD degree with 5+ years' experience in membrane protein biochemistry and/or structural biology. The candidate must have a proven track record in cloning, mammalian cell culture, membrane protein expression and purification. Experience in structural biology (cryo-EM or x-ray crystallography) is a plus but not required.
