and technology to ensure access to well-maintained transmission and
scanning electron microscopes, including Titan Krios G4, Spectra 300 STEM,
VolumeScope 2, Helios Hydra UX DualBeam, Aquilos 2 DualBeam, Quanta 600F
and the Scios DualBeam SEMs.


The cryo-EM specialist is the primary operator of Titan Krios G4 and
Aquilos 2 under the supervision of the Core director. You will be
responsible for user training, sample freezing, grid loading, data
collection and assist data processing. You will have the opportunity to
closely interact with a staff team comprised of biochemist, material
scientist, physicist and data scientist. Previous experience of operating
TEM is preferred.


Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

   - Monitor and assist in maintenance of Titan Krios/Aquilos and related
   peripheral equipment
   - Train users in sample freezing and data collection
   - Load and unload of cryo-grids
   - Align microscope ready for data collection
   - Collect data on the Titan Krios/Aquilos using automated software tools
   - Establish and improve equipment operation protocols

This position requires reliable, onsite attendance.
