This webinar will walk you through the advances and applications of cryo-EM technology, especially focus on examples on how resolution revolution can help on facilitating drug development of both small molecule drugs and antibodies.

The speaker is Dr. Xiaodan Ni, senior scientist in cryo-EM and structural biology at Shuimu Biosciences. She obtained her PhD degree at Mcmaster University in Canada in 2017. Prior to joining Shuimu Biosciences, she had postdoctoral trainings at MRC-LMB in the U.K. and NIH in the US in 2017-2020, working on mitochondrial outer membrane translocons and Parkinson's disease related α-syn fibril polymorphism. As 1st author or co-author, her work had been published in more than 10 renowned journals including Nucleic Acids Research, Nature Communications, Structure, Communications Biology, JMB, JACS, et al.
