[3dem] BSL2 vs BSL1

Hi all,

Due to the type of samples that we are interested in imaging, it would be
advantageous for us to declare our facility as BSL2. This designation,
however, has some implications in terms of the paperwork and safety
measures that have to be taken whenever service is called. Cost of course I
am sure is another factor. Does anyone have experience as to the real
implications that have to be considered? It is my understanding that once
we declare the facility to be BSL2, every instrument is included in the
designation, and it is not reversible.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Ruben.
