Dear colleagues,

The Center for Integrative Biology (http://cbi-toulouse.fr/eng/ <http://cbi-toulouse.fr/eng/>) in Toulouse, a joint research center of the CNRS and the University of Toulouse-Paul Sabatier, has launched a new call for the recruitment of junior group leaders in microbiology.

Although this call does not formally focus on electron microscopy, we will consider with the greatest interest applications dealing with cryo-electron microscopy projects in structural or cell biology.

The CBI runs a cryoelectron microscopy facility equipped for ultra-fast freezing of molecules and cells, and energy-filtered cryo-electron microscopy (https://www-meti.biotoul.fr/ <https://www-meti.biotoul.fr/>). A 200 KeV FEG microscope equipped with a direct electron detector will be installed in 2020 in a brand new building.

Toulouse is the second biggest university town in France and has a long history with electron microscopy. The CBI is a new research center located on the multidisciplinary campus of Paul Sabatier University. It brings together 400 researchers involved in biology at various scales, including a strong department of molecular microbiology (https://www-lmgm.biotoul.fr/uk/ <https://www-lmgm.biotoul.fr/uk/>).

Applications should be sent before June 11, 2019 and interviews will take place in September.
