Dear Colleagues,

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Cryo-EM Research Center seeks to hire a staff scientist and a postdoctoral research associate. The successful candidates will be a part of a vibrant research environment and a rapidly growing cryo-EM community of investigators who use single particle cryo-EM and cryo-ET to address a broad range of biological questions.

The facility will house a Titan Krios with STEM detectors, phase plate, energy filter-K3 and Falcon 3 DEDs, a Talos Arctica with phase plate, energy filter-K3 and Falcon 3 DEDs, a Talos L120C, an Aquilos cryo-FIB-SEM, and all the necessary auxiliary equipment and specimen prep space.

The two team members will have primary roles in instrument support and user training. The individuals will work with other team members to maintain and develop the facility. Opportunities are in place for collaborative projects focused on developments in cryo-EM workflows and instrumentation, as well as structural biology targets.
