The successful applicant will joint the team that manages, maintains and develops the facility, supports users, and gets involved in collaborative projects aimed at improving cryo-EM and scientific research program. 

MRC-LMB has a large and vibrant cryo-EM community. The EM Facility have five 300keV cryo-TEM including three Titan Krios and two Polara; five other EMs including two 200keV FEG microscopes, a Scios cryo-FIB SEM and 120Kev TEMs. It has approximately 160 active users applying electron cryo-microscopy and cryo-electron tomography to study important biological problems. There are research programmes aimed at the development of new hardware and software for electron cryo-microscopy.
