[3dem] Senior staff scientist cryoEM position at CSSB Hamburg

Dear all,
we offer an exciting opportunity as Senior Staff Scientist in the cryoEM 
facility at the Centre for Structural Systems Biology (CSSB) on the DESY 
/ Bahrenfeld Research Campus in Hamburg. We have a fast growing cryoEM 
community applying single particle electron cryo-microscopy and electron 
cryo-tomography for structural cell biology research.

The facility currently comprises five electron cryo-microscopes: two 
Titan Krios instruments with phase plate, energy filter, K2/3 and Falcon 
3 direct detectors, a Talos Artica with phase plate and Falcon 3 direct 
detector, a Talos L120C and an Aquilos FIB cryo-SEM plus respective 
auxiliary equipment to complete the workflows.

The Senior Staff Scientist will head a team of 3 people (2 other posts 
to be advertised shortly) that manage, maintain and develop the 
facility, support and train users, and get involved in collaborative 
projects in particular on improvements to cryoEM workflows or 
instrumentation.
