Post-doctoral positions are available immediately for studies on the molecular interactions of viral cell-entry and trafficking for the gene therapy vector, AAV.  A robust and detailed mechanistic understanding will be a foundation for improved specificity and efficiency in emerging treatments for genetic disorders.  Approaches include biochemistry, molecular virology and structural biology with opportunities to apply and develop methods of cryo-Electron Microscopy.
