Exciting opportunities at eBIC for TWO cryoEM scientists
Dear all,
We are seeking two enthusiastic and motivated cryoEM scientists
http://www.diamond.ac.uk/Careers/Vacancies/All/058_18_KR.html
to join our outstanding eBIC team at Diamond Light Source (http://www.diamond.ac.uk/Science/Integrated-facilities/eBIC.html). This is a unique and exciting opportunity for experienced cryoEM researchers to combine scientific/technical research with management. The successful candidates will work on the cutting-edge scientific or technical research and development, and provision of high-end cryo-electron microscopy for our user community.
eBIC (electron Bio-Imaging Centre) provides scientists with state-of-the-art experimental equipment and expertise in the field of cryoEM, for single particle analysis, cryo-electron tomography, and cryo-electron diffraction. It currently includes four Titan Krios microscopes all with Falcon III, Gatan Quantum K2 Summit (to be upgraded to K3) and Volta phase plate, a Talos and a Scios dual-beam, with one more Krios and one Glacios to be installed soon. Located on the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in South Oxfordshire and integrated within Diamond Light source, the centre provides a unique platform to exploit electron, light and synchrotron imaging capabilities through an integrated approach in the life sciences.
Please send inquiries to Katie Cunnea katie.cunnea at diamond.ac.uk<mailto:katie.cunnea at diamond.ac.uk>.
Application deadline is June 10, 2018.
