Dear colleagues,
Please let me remind you that we will hold the fourth international SPHIRE workshop, on 11-13 June, 2018 at the Max-Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology (Dortmund, Germany).
The workshop is limited to 30 attendees, which will be selected from all applicants, and is soon reaching full capacity.
The registration is closing in 7 days, at May 10, 2018.
Please register until then if you would like to attend.
The registration is free and and all meals will be provided. Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
The workshop will provide intensive hands-on-training in all practical aspects of single particle cryo-EM image processing using SPHIRE with special focus on the
optimisation of cryoEM datasets for high resolution refinement and reproducible analysis of the data.
In addition to the practical sessions, short lectures will be given by SPHIRE developers focusing on crucial steps of the processing, possible pitfalls, as well as the theoretical background behind SPHIRE.
Registered participants will have the opportunity to present posters on their research work and are also strongly encouraged to bring their own data,
since there will be ample time to interact with the instructors and process their own project with SPHIRE during dedicated hands-on sessions.
You can find more information and register at: http://sphire.mpg.de<http://sphire.mpg.de/>
Looking forward to welcoming you in Dortmund,
On behalf of the SPHIRE developer team,
The organizers
Christos Gatsogiannis (MPI), Pawel A Penczek (UT), Stefan Raunser (MPI).
