[3dem] re Van Andel Cryo-EM Workshop

A clarification to my earlier post about the cryo-EM workshop at Van Andel:

International students are welcome to apply, however, there are restrictions regarding whether we can fly them in specifically for this workshop. As the website mentions – the students must be traveling to (or already in) the US prior to the workshop beginning. This negates visa issues when traveling. Please let me know of any further questions.


Eligibility
Doctoral students from U.S. colleges and universities who have completed their comprehensive exams are eligible to apply.

International students who currently are, or are planning to be, already in the United States prior to the course may apply. International travel arrangements must be made by the student.
