[3dem] review of Leica plunge freezer?

Hi,
i just wanted to thank everyone for the numerous responses.  for those of you who are interested but not familiar with the Leica plunge freezers, i’ll just sum up. i received almost all good/positive feedback.  it sounds like there were some issues with the GP (previous generation), that have been resolved with the GP2 (current generation) units.  most users have reported good reproducibility and consistent ice thickness with the GP2, and most recommended it over the Vitrobot.
