Hi Michael,

My first guess would be that you do not have the permission to write at the desired location, however you're connected as root...

What is the installation location? /usr/local/amira ?

Did you try installing with your personnal account but with a "sudo sh amira.bin" command ?

Best,

Sylvain

Hi all. I'm curious if anyone has seen this error (in the screenshot) when trying to install Amira 6.4.0 on Ubuntu linux. It says "The destination folder cannot be created. Do you want to choose another one?" But then it doesn't accept "Yes" for an answer!
thanks for any suggestions,
Michael
