[3dem] Invitation to Cryo-EM Symposium - Houston, TX

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to extend to you an invitation to a one-day cryo-EM symposium hosted by The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Thermo Fisher Scientific in recognition of the newly installed Titan G2 Krios Electron Microscope at UTHealth. The symposium “Electron Cryo-Microscopy Advances: Imaging Cells to Atoms” will be held April 4th, 2018 (8:30am-5pm) and will offer several diverse scientific talks on leading edge cryo-EM technologies and methodologies.

Invited speakers include: Scott Stagg (Florida State), Tamir Gonen (UCLA), Xiaochen Bai (UT Southwestern), Jeffery Lengyel (Thermo Fisher), Steve Ludtke (BCM), Pawel Penczek (UTHealth) and Irina Serysheva (UTHealth).

Location: BioScience Research Collaborative Building - room 280
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
