Dear all,

NCCAT has a quarterly call for general user proposal (GUP) and training proposal (TP) access categories. The 2019 deadlines are: January 1, 2019 for 2019 scheduling cycle2 (2019-C2) | April 1, 2019 for 2019-C3 | July 1, 2019 for 2019-C4 | October 1, 2019 for 2020-C1.

The GUP1 early access program supports single particle cryoEM data collection on one of our existing Titan Krios instruments using a Gatan K2 direct-electron detector. The GUP2 program supports limited use of Chameleon (the commercialized version of Spotiton) coupled with an exploratory screening microscope session. Lastly, the TP program supports embedded training and facility manager training. When the NCCAT wing at NYSBC completes construction (expected the summer of 2019) the scope of these access classes will be expanded.

NCCAT is committed to an open and transparent application process to ensure equal-opportunity nationwide access. For more information see nccat.nysbc.org<http://nccat.nysbc.org>.

Best,
Ed Eng (NCCAT)
