Hi Li,
Gatan initially wanted a high flow rate for our K3 install on our Polara but had problems with condensation issues.  They tried reducing the flow rate of about 12 -15 so that the HS1 and HS2 (your Gatan engineer should know what I am referring to) temperatures were closer to 23 and 25 C but still had issues maintaining a constant flow.  They ended up giving us a small dedicated chiller to solve the issue.  Good luck.

We would like to upgrade to K3 camera on our JEOL microscope. According to Gatan system requirements, K3 DED camera requires higher water flow rate (30L/h) and higher inlet pressure (90psd) than the K2 camera, however, the capacity for our JEOL water chiller is 60psi. I wonder if any other lab have the same issue and appreciate you input. Thank you!
