[3dem] Sad news about Ken Downing

Dear colleagues and friends,

I have known Ken as a highly successful collaborator, deep thinker and 
EM pioneer - and all that while being the kindest and most humble of 
scientist. A truly great loss.

My deep condolences to his family.
