Sincere congratulations to Richard, Joachim and Jaques!

I would like to pay tribute to Joachim. As a former post-doc and I hope a friend, I can’t describe how proud and happy I am for this nomination. I know first hand his pioneering contributions to cryo-EM and to the ribosome fields, and I can only think of one thing to say, said by a by-far wiser man; «The voice of the intellect is a soft one, but it does not rest until it has gained a hearing»  S. Freud. Joachim's voice didn’t only gained a hearing but it simply illuminated the field of structural biology and revolutionized the way we think of biomolecular machines. Thank you for being such a great scientist, for being such a great boss and simply for being such a great person!
