Dear list members,

We would like to invite you to our Cryo-EM User Symposium. EMBL Heidelberg is inaugurating its new cryo-EM User facility housing FEI Titan Krios and Talos Arctica microscopes on 2nd February 2018. The EMBL Heidelberg cryo-EM user facility will provide access to cryo-EM for researchers of EMBL member states. To celebrate this occasion, we will host a Cryo-EM User Symposium with the following confirmed speakers:

Bettina Böttcher, Würzburg University, Germany
Miquel Coll, CSIC Barcelona, Spain
Ron Diskin, Weizmann Institute, Israel
Marcus Fändrich, Ulm University, Germany
Alessandro Vannini, Institute of Cancer Research, London, UK
Albert Weixlbaumer, IGBMC Strasbourg, France
Giulia Zanetti, Birkbeck College, London, UK

Most of the speakers have already used our cryo-EM facility at EMBL Heidelberg through the iNEXT access schemes and will present their research in a mini-symposium (starting at 11.00 h, finishing with a reception at 19.00 h). We will also dedicate time to discuss future needs and potential improvements of the facility with our service engineers Wim Hagen and Felix Weis. The preliminary schedule can be found at:
