Hi Elke,

If you aim for maximum performance for the money the 1070's clearly have an
upper hand. You'll get ~30% less cuda cores compared to the 1080's. But
expect less than 30% performance loss, since the non-GPU related execution
time, like IO and CPU code, wont be affected.
