good points, added by Masahide, for this comparison. 
just to add that the TVIPS XF416 is on the market (since 2016), which is the
much faster "sister camera". Full 4k x 4k frame with up to 50fps. - I do not
know how this compares to the other cameras, but this is likely to be
sufficient for many applications in Biology and Mat.sciences, for this budget.

It will also depend on how your users like the one or the other software:
worth testing and comparing. And how the software is suited for your
applications.
