European researchers (academic or commercial) can apply for cryo-electron microscope time at EMBL Heidelberg and at other major centres in Europe through the iNEXT network. Access is funded through the Horizon 2020 programme of the EU.

There are two modes of access to cryo-EM:

High-end data collection. Supported time on the Krios and Polara microscopes at EMBL in Heidelberg, as well as microscopes at other major centres in Europe (you must already have preliminary cryo-EM images to apply for this mode).

Enhanced support. Support to move projects towards cryo-EM (you must already have preliminary negative stain images to apply for this mode).

Applications for time are peer-reviewed by an external panel. Further details, and the application submission system, are available on the iNEXT website: http://www.inext-eu.org

We encourage you to apply!

John
