RMS Enhancing your Image Course 2016
How to Colour EM Images using Photoshop

Photoshop-enhanced images are widely used in scientific publications, marketing materials, outreach events and posters making it increasingly essential to make your work stand out.

This course, organised by the Royal Microscopical Society will give you an introduction to the basics in colouring and enhancing images taken on a microscope with Adobe Photoshop, enabling you to make your images even more beautiful and inspiring. It is especially useful for colouring SEM micrographs and is designed to accommodate total beginners, with plenty of hands-on practice. Delegates will be asked to bring some of their own images to colour.

The experience gained on this course is invaluable and easy to implement back in the workplace. We encourage you to bring along your own images to colour and see first-hand the amazing impact that colour can have!
