Dear friends and colleagues,

This Spring, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) announced the launch of the National Cryo-Electron Microscopy Facility (NCEF) under the umbrella of the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (http://www.cancer.gov/research/resources/cryoem).

The first instrument in the facility is a Titan Krios microscope that is currently being installed and tested, and is expected to be available for use by the extramural community sometime in Fall 2016.

NCEF is now actively recruiting to fill two positions: a Senior Microscopist and a Scientific Program Manager. Further details about these positions, including information on how to apply, can be found online at:

Best wishes,

Sriram Subramaniam
