It is with very deep sadness that I am writing to say that Gina Sosinsky has passed away.

Her scientific excellence, unique talents, and her dedication to the scientific community, including our EM community will be greatly missed. 

Gina has significantly advanced our understanding of cell-cell communication and she has made important contributions to EM and CLEM methods development. In addition, she has hosted this list-server for many years -- did you even know that?

Oh yes, and she was a fantastic friend.  

She will be greatly missed.
