[3dem] cryo-EM specialist position

The UCSF cryo-EM community is searching for a cryo-EM specialist. The Keck
Advanced Microscopy Laboratory at UCSF is shared by David Agard, Yifan
Cheng and Adam Frost. Our facility currently houses an FEI Polara equipped
with a pre-GIF Gatan K2 summit and a post-GIF energy filter K2 summit; a
TF20 equipped with a K2; a T20 LaB6 equipped with an 8K CCD, an a T12 LaB6
equipped with a 4K UltraScan. The facility is supervised by a manager and
who oversees microscope maintenance and an IT specialist who oversees data
management.

In addition to working on cryo-EM related projects, the specialist will
provide support and training for the growing cryo-EM community at UCSF. The
ideal candidate for this position will be a cryo-EM expert with strong
communication skills. If you enjoy teaching, training, and working
