[3dem] Imaging Life 2015 - Symposium

Dear All,

The University of Sheffield is hosting it’s first one-day symposium, Imaging Life 2015. The symposium is being organised by postgraduates, and is aimed at bringing together established academics and early career researchers from different disciplines working on biological imaging. This comprises electron microscopy (including cryo-EM), super-resolution & light microscopy, atomic force microscopy and chemical engineering. The one-day event will take place on Friday the 18th of September 2015 at the Pam Liversidge Building Lecture Theatre 1 and SY Chung Atrium at the University of Sheffield, UK, from 9:30 am till 6:30 pm. We will host talks and a poster and image competition, followed by wine reception and networking event. The talks will include lectures from distinguished academics from the above fields. 

Registration is now open. The deadline for Registration is 31 August 2015. Abstract deadline for poster competition is 1 August 2015. This symposium is part of Imagine: Imaging Life 2022, part of a university wide initiative to attract a diverse array of researchers from Bio-imaging sciences.
