[3dem] EM Specialist position available at UC-Davis

The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB) in the College of Biological Sciences (CBS) at the University of California, Davis, invites applications for an independent Electron Microscopy Specialist position in an established and modern electron microscopy facility which supports cellular and molecular electron microscopy research labs. 
 
This position will facilitate daily training, maintain equipment, and drive experimental and computational electron microscopy techniques within a highly collaborative environment.  The MCB/CBS EM facility includes a cryo-capable JEOL 2100 F microscope and a JEOL 1230 microscope both equipped with CCD devices, and  a complete set of ancillary equipment  for preparing and transferring samples for molecular cryo and cellular sectioning electron microscopy analyses.
 
Candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry or Engineering, or 5 years’ experience in related field.
