[3dem] gold conjugation

Dear fellow microscopists,

I would like to conjugate a gold nanoparticle to a protein probe which binds to my RNA of interest. There are several kits available commercially (AbCam, Innova, and many smaller companies I am not familiar with) for DIY conjugation. I am wondering if anyone has had good or bad experiences with a given kit, or tips about which may be appropriate in certain circumstances.
