[3dem] CTF Challenge

Dear Colleagues,

Following the email we sent you two weeks ago, we are pleased to
announce that the CTF Challenge is ready to start, and that its web
site at

http://i2pc.cnb.csic.es/3dembenchmark/LoadSubTasks.htm?subtaskId=2

is fully functional. From this moment on you can download the
challenge data set of micrographs that have been collected to allow a
study of some of the current limits of CTF estimation approaches.

However, we have also received clear inputs indicating that the
initial date to finish the Challenge, two months from now, was not
good for those people wth teaching responsibilities. Consequently, we
set as new deadline the 15th of July, allowing for additional time,
specially during the summer months.

We will keep this email list updated as to the progress of this
inniciative, encouraging everybody to contribute to this endeavour
