Postdoctoral Position for 3D imaging of macromolecular assemblies

A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Dorit Hanein, Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute to study the structure-function correlates of multi-molecular complexes that control the shapes and movements of living cells by employing correlative light and electron microscopies. We aim at combining high-resolution light and transmission electron cryo-microscopy imaging modalities with computational techniques to formulate multi-scale models for understanding how forces affect the dynamic organization of these assemblies

The successful candidate should  have a PhD or equivalent in structural biology or  biophysics. Previous experience in electron cryo-microscopy, image analysis, biochemistry or cell culture will be an advantage.
