FEI is searching for a Product Marketing Manager to join our Life Science team.  This person will create marketing strategy and product roadmaps for high end TEM Solutions in life sciences applications in structural biology with a strong focus on EM, but more importantly on "non EM" structural biology segments like structural biology CROs (contract research organizations), Pharma companies, academic gene2structure groups (adjacent markets).   Experience developing strategies to break into these markets is required. 

This position can be located in Hillsboro, Oregon or Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Key responsibilities are: 

-Manage product line profit & loss and bookings on a quarterly basis 
-Achieve budgeted targets 
-Manage product solution definition, introduction and complete market lifecycle 
-Develop detailed marketing specifications for product solutions 
-Engage with customers (current & future) and recommend FEI technology solutions 
-Track major PMP-projects for TEM Solutions 
-Identify and recommend TEM Solutions opportunities consistent with market objectives 
-Owns TEM Solutions bookings-pipeline and forecast for next 4Q 
-Owns TEM Solutions-roadmap 
-Define sales and marketing collateral content for TEM Solutions 

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: 

-PhD-degree in Life Science (preferably Biology, Medicine) 
-5 years in Applications, Product management or Marketing 
-Experience in structural biology technologies (XRD, NMR) and ideally also in TEM
-Significant experience in Interactions with potential customers in lab environments
